    • A centrifugal fan includes a housing and an impeller rotatably received in the housing. The housing defines an air inlet in a top plate thereof and an air outlet in a sidewall thereof. The air inlet is perpendicular to the air outlet. The impeller includes a hub and a plurality of blades extending outwardly from a sidewall of the hub. Each of the blades includes an inner blade section connected with the sidewall of the hub and an outer blade section extending outwardly from the inner blade section. An upper portion of the inner blade section is curved upwardly and forwardly from a curved lower portion of the inner blade section towards an adjacent front blade. The curved lower portion has a curvature smaller than that of the upper portion.

    • A heat dissipation device includes an electric fan having a fan impeller with a hub and a heat sink. A plurality of main blades and subsidiary blades extend radially and outwardly from the hub and alternate with each other. The electric fan forms an air inlet and an air outlet. The main blades have connecting portions on the hub which are extended towards a center of the hub at the air outlet. The subsidiary blades have a smaller radial length than the main blades. The subsidiary blades each have a connecting edge on the hub which is extended toward the center of the hub adjacent to the air outlet. The fan impeller drives more air to the center of the air outlet, whereby more air can flow to a center of the heat sink.

    • A heat dissipation apparatus includes a heat sink (30) and a fan (50) mounted on the heat sink. The heat sink includes a plurality of radial fins (311, 331). An air channel (312, 332) is defined between every two adjacent fins. Each of the fins includes a main body (331, 331) and an airflow guiding flange (314, 334) extending upwardly and outwardly from a top side of the main body. The airflow guiding flange is twisted in a radial direction, such that an included angle between the airflow guiding flange and the main body is gradually increased from an outer side (318, 338) towards an inner side (317, 337) of the main body. The fan is used to generate airflow towards the heat sink. The airflow is guided into the air channels between the fins via the airflow guiding flanges.
