    • PURPOSE:To enable waste liquid to be incinerated and enable a saving of fuel cost to be realized by a method wherein a combustion cylinder and an upper part of an evaporator are connected by a duct, the evaporator is separately heated only at first to evaporate the waste liquid, mixed separately with air fed into the combustion cylinder to make an evaporation of the liquid and then ignited at the upper part of the combustion cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Waste liquid including combustible substances such as radioactive organic waste liquid is inserted from outside into an evaporator 4. Subsequently, a burner 10 is ignited to heat a lower portion of the evaporator 4 to evaporate the waste liquid contained in it, resulting in that the vapor passes through a duct 7 and fed to the combustion cylinder 6. Simultaneously, the vapor is mixed with air from a nozzle 9 and the mixture discharged from the upper hole of the combustion cylinder 6 is similarly ignited by a burner 10. With this combustion, the evaporator 4 is also heated. In this way, as the combustion is started through an ignition at the combustion cylinder 6, subsequently even if no heating with the burner 10 is performed, toxic substance within the waste liquid may repeat the combustion. Due to this fact, the fuel for evaporating the waste liquid in the evaporator 4 is not required except at the ignition time.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for incinerating a carcass of a small animal capable of effecting a complete incineration by using waste oil without emitting smoke and offensive odor. SOLUTION: Carcasses 10 of small animals are stacked cylindrically in a row in a concentric relation with a vertically erected vent tube 6 provided with a large number of nozzles 6-1 and the height of the stacked carcasses 10 is set at a height not higher than three fourths of the height of the vent tube 6. Combustion air is fed through the nozzles to effect complete combustion. A lower side housing 1 has a bottomed cylindrical shape and an upper side housing 2 having a bottomed cylindrical shape is secured onto an upper part of the lower side housing, interior of which is partitioned into an outer peripheral side air chamber 1-1 and a central gas chamber 1-2 by a refractory material 4 having a large number of air supply nozzles. The gas chamber is allowed to communicate with a combustion chamber in the upper side housing, and a grate 5 is placed in a concentric relation with the vent tube located in a center of the upper side housing and provided with a large number of the nozzles with a space provided between an internal circumference of the upper side housing and the carcasses of the small animals. A supply tube for supplying air from a blower to air stirring nozzles, air supply nozzles and the vent tube and introducing fuel into the gas chamber is provided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder which can remove a removing end adhered to the surface of a paper roll without excessive force of fingers. SOLUTION: A toilet paper roll 2 is pivotally supported at its almost center by an engaging shaft 6 fixed to the wall of a toilet with a holder 1 so that the toilet paper 2 is detachable and rotatable, one ends of arms 5a and 5b are rotatably attached to the holder 1 via a rotary shaft 3, a roller 7 whose surface has spike-like projections 8 is arranged by the arms 5a and 5b so that the roller 7 is rotatable against the surface of the toilet paper 2, and when the roller 7 is rotated, the toilet paper 2 is rewound and a removing end is removed. A result is that by a simple action of rotating the roller 7, a patient whose finger function decreased can easily and quickly remove the removing end of the toilet paper 2, and excessive abolition of the toilet paper 2 is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a uniform drying to be carried out within a short period of time even if a metallic piece is mixed in the waste material to be processed or even if an entire waste material is kept in its non-uniform state by a method wherein radioactive biological waste material stored in a processing chamber is heated by a far-infrared ray heater and kept at vacuum or pressure reduced state by a pump means. SOLUTION: An experimental animal contaminated with a radioactive isotope used in an experiment applied with a waste material to be processed within a processing chamber 1a closing lid is closed to make a sealingly closed state of the processing chamber 1. Heat is applied in such a manner that a heating temperature of a far infrared ray heater 3 may become 100 deg.C to 150 deg.C under a control of a control device 17 and then a pump 15 is operated in such a manner that an inside part of the processing chamber 1 may become a vacuum state or pressure reduced state. A temperature sensor 4 monitors a temperature within the processing chamber 1, a monitoring signal is inputted to the control device 17 and then ON-OFF control is carried out with the control device 17 in such a manner that the heating temperature of the far infrared ray heater 3 may become 100 deg.C to 150 deg.C, for example.
