    • A feed mechanism for a cutting-loading machine comprises a drive (1) the output shaft of which is connected to a conveyer (2) through a kinematic linkage. The kinematic linkage contains a sprocket (3) mounted on the output shaft and coupling elements (4) engaging with the teeth of the sprocket (3). The coupling elements are mounted rotatably around their axis and with the possibility of longitudinal movements along a guide (5). The guide (5) consists of hingedly interconnected sections. Each section is mounted on a carrying element (7) secured to the conveyer (2) and consists of two bow-shaped elements (8, 9) facing each other by their concavities and interconnected in their centre/plane by means of at least two elements (10) so as to provide a gap between the bow-shaped elements (10). Each element (10) carries a coupling element (4) shaped as a body of revolution. The mechanism further comprises at least two clamps (14, 15) which are secured, at a certain distance from each other, to the drive (1) and interact with each section of the guide (5). One clamp (14) is located in the zone of interaction of the tooth of the sprocket (3) with the coupling element (4).
