摘要： The present invention relates to a local wireless signal transmitting/receiving apparatus and method using digital radio frequency (RF) processing technology. When the local wireless signal transmitting/receiving apparatus has generated a local wireless signal to be transmitted, has diffused the frequency of the generated local wireless signal and thereby generats a baseband signal, it converts the generated baseband signal of the local wireless signal into phase information, converts the phase information into an RF signal by means of a polar modulator, and transmits the RF signal. Also, when the local wireless signal transmitting/receiving apparatus has received an external RF signal, it detects an intermediate frequency (IF) signal, detects a zero-crossing signal from the detected IF signal, then converts the detected zero-crossing signal into a digital signal, converts the converted digital signal into a local wireless signal which is a processable signal, and processes the local wireless signal. According to the present invention, AD/DA converters are replaced with a polar modulator and a ZXD, thus making it possible to implement a low-power design for a local wireless signal transmitting/receiving apparatus, to reduce chip size and to save costs.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method in which each device sets my beacon slot using a beacon table in a WPAN, which uses superframes, each having a beacon-only period. In the method, beacon scheduling information, including information about neighbors' beacon slots and information about neighbors' neighbors' beacon slots, is received from neighbor devices. The beacon scheduling information is combined, and the neighbors' beacon slot information and the neighbors' neighbors' beacon slot information are input into a beacon table. The neighbors' beacon slots and the neighbors' neighbors' beacon slots are input into a field for BTTSs to be avoided in the beacon table. My beacon slot is set among beacon slots of the beacon-only period, except for the beacon slots input into the field for BTTSs to be avoided. Information about the set beacon slot is input into a field for my BTTS in the beacon table.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of efficiently assigning addresses in a WPAN and a WPAN device. The address assignment method of the present invention is performed by a highest device. Address assignment information, required to determine an address value to be assigned to a lower device, is managed. An address value is assigned to a lower device that requests connection from the highest device with reference to the address assignment information. The address assignment information is updated to a next address value as the address value is assigned, and the updated address assignment information is transmitted to lower devices. If update of address assignment information is requested by a device that assigned an address value to a device lower thereto, the address assignment information is updated to a next address value, and the updated address assignment information is transmitted to lower devices.
