摘要： A computing device can be unlocked and an application selected for execution with a single gesture. The single gesture can comprise a portion of an unlock gesture and an application selection gesture. An unlock-and-launch user interface can comprise a plurality of tracks and a user can unlock a device and select an application by first moving an icon in a first direction along a first track from a starting position and then along a second track in a second direction. A user can unlock a device and launch an application by supplying an unlock gesture and then selecting an application icon from a series of icons presented while the user's finger or stylus remains in contact with the touchscreen. Applications to be included in an unlock-and-launch interface can be selected by the user, or automatically selected by the device based on application usage and/or device context.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for lowering I/O power of a computer system, comprising: buffering a plurality of ways of data to be sent to a bus; encoding each of the plurality of ways of data buffered from n bits to n+m bits based on an encoding rule, wherein n and m are both an integer larger than or equal to 1, the encoding rule is used to lower code switching frequency; and sending the plurality of ways of data encoded to the bus.

The enclosure includes a plurality of capacitive touch sensor arrays disposed at least on two of a top side, a bottom side, a left side, a right side, a front side, and a back side of the device. The enclosure also includes a first display on the front side of the device. The logic receives touch interaction information from the plurality of capacitive touch sensor arrays and initiates an action based at least in part on the touch interaction information.
