摘要： A mowing apparatus (10) is provided by a reel-type (20) or rotary mower (220) towed by a vehicle, such as a bicycle (12), by a draw bar (50) adapted to mount onto existing mower brackets (26) and onto the vehicle by a connector (70) that mounts to a frame element (160) of the vehicle. The draw bar (50) includes a resilient element (150) that preferably permits flexing relative to the vehicle so that the mower (20) articulates relative to the vehicle and so that a normal load force may be applied to the mower (20, 220). The connector (70) is preferably adjustable to allow selective variance in the load force applied. The draw bar (50) may be a single arcuate piece utilizing a spring as the resilient element (150). Alternatively, the draw bar (50) may be one or a pair of stiff, yet resilient arms. A guard portion (57) may be provided as an extension of the draw bar (150) or as an auxiliary piece, and a grass shield (190) may be employed.
