    • A voice recognition method and system for identifying a person on a display screen based on when the person's voice is recognized is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a speaker profile associated with a speaker, the speaker profile including a signature pattern and identifying information associated with the speaker, the signature pattern having been created from a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) of a first voice sample of the speaker's voice; receiving a second voice sample; converting the second voice sample into a voice pattern using FFT; cross correlating the voice pattern with the signature pattern, resulting in a cross correlation coefficient R, where 0 ≤ R ≤ 1; and sending the identifying information associated with the speaker profile when the cross correlation coefficient R is above a threshold.

    • A method, apparatus and system for anti-piracy protection and verification include a first projection device configured to project image frames onto a screen. A feedback device records a plurality of consecutive frames, an image analyzing module analyzes image properties of the recorded frames and a modulator creates anti-sampling system content to be projected contemporaneously with the image frames. The projected anti-sampling system content, while virtually invisible to the human eye, is detectable by sampling systems such as camcorders, thus rendering any such pirated recordings of the protected image content useless. The first projection device can include a security processor configured for comparing the recorded content with an expected content in real-time. A display enable/disable module is provided for disabling the projection of the content on the screen if the recorded content does not match the expected content.

    • A network interface apparatus is capable of bypassing an inoperable or failed network device. According to an exemplary embodiment, the network interface apparatus includes first and second transformers (T1, T2). A network input (42) and a network output (44) are respectively coupled to a first side of the first transformer (T1) and a first side of the second transformer (T2). A terminal input (46) and a terminal output (48) are respectively coupled to a second side of the first transformer (T1) and a second side of the second transformer (T2). A switch assembly (50) is coupled to the second sides of the first and second transformers (T1, T2). When the switch assembly (50) is in a first state, the second side of the first transformer (T1) is coupled to the terminal output (48), and when the switch assembly (50) is in a second state, the second side of the first transformer (T1) is coupled to the first side of the second transformer (T2) bypassing the terminal output (48).
