    • The invention relates to the use of at least one specific triazine or melamine and/or the salt thereof as an accelerator for a photo-induced reaction of 3-(4-tert-butyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one or a mixture of these compounds to form avobenzone. The invention also relates to a preparation containing at least one specific triazine or melamine and a method for stabilising the UV absorption capability of a preparation using a mixture of at least one specific triazine or melamine with 3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one or a mixture of these compounds, especially preferably with 3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one.

    • The subject matter of the invention is the use of at least one phosphane oxide as an accelerator for a photo-induced reaction of 3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one or a mixture of such propan-1-one compounds to obtain avobenzone. The invention further relates to mixtures and a preparation containing at least one phosphane oxide and a method for stabilising the UV absorption capacity of a preparation by means of a mixture containing at least one phosphane oxide together with 3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one or a mixture of such propan-1-one compounds, particularly preferably with 3-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one.
