摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a wide-area network by combining separated data transmission networks with each other. SOLUTION: The wide-area network is constituted by a first interface 14A between a first network and a central network, and a second interface 14B between a second network and the central network. Each of the interfaces 14A and 14B has memories 20A and 20B including look-up tables, and receives FC data frames from clients 13 and 25 on its FC network. The FC data frames are converted into data frames adaptive to the central network by using the look-up tables. The first interface 14A receives the FC data frames and converts the frames into data frames adaptive to the central network. The converted data frames are transmitted to the second interface 14B through the central network, restored by means of the interface 14B, and transmitted within the second network.
