    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable turning movement of a block member by connecting a guide bush of a brake block member to a piston rod in such a manner as to turn by a means including a turning sleeve, which is rotatably attached to the end part of a tubular piston rod opposite to a block holder. SOLUTION: A turning sleeve 19 is inserted in a piston rod 11 in such a manner as to be axially aligned with a side opening part 18, and provided with an opening part 21. A holding pin 20 has a hole 22 with a screw thread and is inserted in an opening part 24 from the brake block member side of a block holder 2 and inserted through the opening part 21 of the turning sleeve 19 in a hole 22 with a screw thread of the holding pin 20 to be fixed. The back side of the hole 22 with a screw thread is in the periphery of the opening part 24 having a circular surface 25, the turning sleeve 19 is pressed to the circular surface 25, and the block holder 2 is provided on the piston rod 11 in such a manner as to turn. Thus, the block member can be easily turned smoothly so as to improve safety and durability.

    • A rail vehicle bogie comprises whell sets (1) journalled in longitudinal side frames (3) connected by a transverse bolster (4).     • A brake actuator for delivering a brake force through a brake block or brake pad to a wheel or disc to be braked comprises in a housing (1) a service brake arrangement (3, 5). The actuator also comprises a safety brake arrangement (4, 9) including at least one powerful spring (9), acting in the brake application direction, means for tensioning the spring by the reaction force at a service brake application, and mechanical means (11, 12, 13) for locking the spring to the housing in a tension state.
