摘要： A miter saw is provided with a base unit on which target material is placed, a table unit rotatably provided on the base unit, a swing unit for swinging up and down above the table unit, and a cutting unit provided on the swing unit and having a flat motor provided with a rotor having an output shaft and a coil disc provided with a plurality of coil pieces arranged in the circumferential direction about the output shaft when seen in the direction of the axis of the output shaft and a stator having a magnet arranged such that magnetic flux passes through the coil disc in the direction of the axis of the output shaft, and a rotating blade rotation shaft on which a rotating blade can be mounted and positioned substantially parallel to the direction of the axis of the output shaft of the flat motor, and a power transfer unit that transfers the power of the flat motor to the rotating blade.

The cutter blade portion supports a moving blade. The cutter blade portion is supported on the holder movable between an upper position and a lower position. The cutter blade portion is moved into the lower position to cut a workpiece supported on the base using the moving blade. The laser generator is attached to the holder or the cutter blade portion in an orientation to direct at least a portion of the laser light onto a position on the workpiece that is directly beneath the cutter blade portion when the cutter blade portion is in the upper position. Alternatively, a holder has a shaft support portion, and a slide shaft is axially slidably supported by the shaft support portion. A front end of the slide shaft has a hinge holder which pivotally supports the cutting blade portion. A laser generator is fixed to a front side of the hinge holder.

摘要： A miter saw which prevents deterioration in perpendicularity of a cutting blade to the upper surface of a base part when slide of a pipe is regulated by pressing a pipe. In a miter saw, a pair of pipes support a cutting part, on one end side. On the other end side, the pipes are surrounded and supported slidably by a first slide support part of a support member of a turntable. A virtual plane including the axes of the pair of pipes is substantially parallel to the pivotal direction of a disc saw blade. A first screw is screwed in the first slide support part. An end part of the first screw contacts and presses a pipe. This end part is engaged with the pipe so as to restrict slide of the pipe relative to the first slide support part.

摘要： A miter saw having a holder fixing mechanism for fixing a pivot posture of a holder. The holder supports a support section on which a saw blade section is pivotally movably supported. The holder is laterally pivotally movable about a holder shaft to change angle of a side surface of a circular saw blade relative to an upper surface of a base. The holder fixing mechanism includes a clamp bolt whose axis is directed perpendicular to the holder shaft and in parallel with the side surface of the circular saw blade. By the rotation of the clamp bolt about its axis, a fixing relationship between the holder and the base section is established.

A circular-saw unit supporting a circular saw blade has a first stopper bolt abuttable on a stopper receiver on a support unit for determining the lowermost position of the circular saw blade. The circular-saw unit also has a second stopper bolt for forming a groove of a desired depth in the workpiece. The second stopper bolt is movable with respect to the first stopper bolt. The stopper receives supports a pivot member or a plate. The pivot member or the plate is abuttable on the second stopper bolt in accordance with a moved position of the second stopper bolt for regulating a depth of a groove.
