摘要： A method for setting up a cutting table for an automated high temperature thermal cutting system can include providing a computer-readable product to, for example, a digital signal processor (e.g., CNC). The computer-readable product can include data for at least one part to be cut from a workpiece (e.g., a part program). A user can be prompted to select values from a menu of mandatory operating parameters (e.g., using a graphical user interface) for a shape of the part to be cut from the workpiece. Mandatory operating parameters can include at least one of an operating current, a gas flow, a thickness of the workpiece, or a material of the workpiece.

摘要： Apparatus, systems, and methods for monitoring the processing of a workpiece that includes directing an incident laser beam onto the workpiece and using an optical detector for measuring a signal emitted from the workpiece as a result of the incident laser beam. The detector generates at least two signals based upon the optical signal. The method also involves use of a light source monitor in determining workpiece processing quality based upon the quotient of the two outputs as well as a magnitude of one of the two quotients.

摘要： A method of improving a steam drive wherein high-quality steam is initially injected into a hydrocarbon-bearing formation to initiate a steam drive from an injection well to a production well and then very low-quality steam or water is injected into the formation until the cumulative value of quality of all the injected fluid is reduced to a value between 35 and 45% to maximize the heat utilization of the steam in the formation and improve the sweep efficiency of the steam drive and then adjusting the quality of the steam injected into the formation to a value of between 35 and 45% to continue the steam drive.
