Spectacles supporting polarizing or sun-glass lenses and adapted for use alone or in conjunction with prescriptive spectacles, comprises a frame bearing the lenses and carrying a nose engaging member and temples, ,the temples being framed, at or near their connection with the frame, with rigid supporting portions adapted to rest on the temples of a second spectacle frame when the latter is being worn. As shown, the temples 2, 3 and frame portion 1 may be formed of a single piece of metal wire to which the lenses 6, 7 are respectively attached by metal members 8, 9, one end 10, 11, of each of which is bent to pass through coincident holes in the lenses and in the portion 1 and the other being .held to the portion 1 by a screw 12, 13 respectively. The member 9 is extended to provide a nose-rest 16. The temples 2, 3 have each a serpentine portion 4, 5 adapted to rest on the temples of a second pair of spectacles. Alternatively the nose rest 16 may be omitted, the centre of the frame portion 1 being bent to form such a rest. The frame may be of plastic to which the temples are secured.     • An aerial vehicle includes independently controlled horizontal thrusters and vertical lifters to provide design and operational simplicity while allowing precision flying with six degrees of freedom and use of mounted devices such as tools, sensors, and instruments. Each horizontal thruster and vertical lifter can be mounted as constant-pitch, fixed-axis rotors while still allowing for precise control of yaw, pitch, roll, horizontal movement, and vertical elevation. Gyroscopes and inclinometers can be used to further enhance flying precision. A controller manages thrust applied the horizontal thrusters and vertical lifters to compensate for forces and torques generated by the use of tools and other devices mounted to the aerial vehicle.
