摘要： The present invention provides a display apparatus 10 suitable for use on the outside of a dwelling; said display apparatus 10 comprising means 32 of identification of the dwelling, illumination means (36, 38, 40) and means 42, (46 Figure 3) for activating said illumination means to cause illumination of the illumination means, in which the illumination means is adapted to flash alternately on and off when activated. Means 42 takes the form of a light sensor electrically linked with the illumination means and switch (46). The display may be made up of a number of discrete display regions 26, 28, 30, the lower one of which may be coloured and may display emergency signs.

Rotary stirrers.-Relates to wbisking-machines wherein the blades are carried by two short spindles, one fixed and the other rotatable, and consists in the provision of a coupling whereby the rotatable spindle may be locked against any but rotary motion. The beater consists of a framework 3 resting on a rim 2 of the container 1, and having two short spindles 5, 6 to which wire blades 7, 8, 9 are secured in bosses 14, the outer bosses being fixed to the spindle 6 and the centre on to the spindle 5. The container has brackets 10, 11, the bracket 10 carrying an adjusting screw 13 pressing against the spindle 5, while the bracket 11 forms a bearing for the shaft 12, which revolves the spindle 6 and the connected blades 7. 9. The innermost bosses are held together by wires 15. The shaft 12 has a reduced end portion which is adapted to enter a recess 16, Fig.2, in the end of the spindle 6 through a gap 17 which does not reach the bottom of the recess, so that the coupling may be locked by tightning the screw 13.
