摘要： Techniques for detecting stress urinary incontinence use a pressure sensing catheter the electrical indications of which are applied to a processing unit for detecting pressure levels generated during involuntary coughs. The involuntary coughs are induced preferentially by using a nebulized composition of L-tartrate in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The area under the curve generated from pressure samples is calculated and used in conjunction with the detection of urine leakage to determine the existence of stress urinary incontinence.

摘要： Permitting utilization of computer system resources in accordance with the licensing thereof is disclosed. A method includes conducting an inventory of the resources of a computer system. The method determines which of the resources of the computer system are licensed for current usage, and permits utilization of these resources. Other resources of the computer system that are not licensed for usage are prevented from being used. The method may include determining which resources are licensed for usage with metering. The method permits the utilization of such resources, and tracks utilization availability of these resources. The method may further include determining which resources are licensed for periodic usage. Once the method receives indication to allow the periodic usage of these resources, the method permits their utilization, and tracks their utilization availability as needed. Preferably, the method performs its functionality without rebooting or restarting the computer system.

A nebulizer suction member encloses the body and is configured as an infant pacifier. A primary suction line extends from the medication reservoir to the low pressure mixing chamber through which medication is drawn upward and mixed with air passing through the venturi nozzle and nebulized for discharge through the nebulizer outlet.

The conditions may include the first server being predicted as failure prone, the first server consuming power less than a threshold, and the first server having resource utilization less than a threshold.

摘要： A system and method allows diagnosis of a patient for physiological abnormality such as a neurological deficiency. An involuntary reflex cough event is induced within the patient that activates the nucleus ambiguus and medial motor cell column of the patient and stimulates involuntary cough activated paraspinal muscles in the pelvis of the patient. An electromyogram (EMG) is obtained from the involuntary cough activated paraspinal muscles while inducing involuntary reflex cough and determining its duration. The intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) is determined and the IAP is correlated with the EMG duration of the involuntary cough event within a processing device to diagnose a physiological abnormality such as a neurological deficiency within the patient.
