摘要： An internal combustion steam engine comprises primary and working sections 1, 10 and means for injecting water or steam, wherein the engine is configured so that a mixture of steam and exhaust gases from the primary section are supplied to the working section. The primary section may comprise a small capacity engine having an inlet valve 3 for entry of air and an exhaust valve 4 for the outlet of exhaust gases following ignition of a mixture of air and fuel. The exhaust valve may be connected to an inlet valve 7 of the working section via a passage 6, which preferably comprises an enlarged section forming an annular chamber. The water or steam injection means may be a water injector 5 that provides water to the passage, where the water is converted to steam.

摘要： A method of manufacturing flexible containers that are hermetically resealable. Each resealable container comprises a receptacle and a pair of plastic zipper strips. The zipper strips are flattened at the ends within the side seal regions and are joined to each other, without substantial deformation of the closure profiles, in respective transition areas substantially contiguous with the side seals. These transition areas of zipper strip joinder assist in providing a leakproof transition from the openable section of the zipper to the side seals, where the closure profiles are fused and flattened (i.e., crushed).

Additionally, a hinged secondary zipper (30) formed from interior interlocking elements. A first interior interlocking element (32) is hinged by an interior flange with respect to the first flange (18) while the second interior interlocking element (34) is attached to the second flange (22). The hinging of the secondary zipper causes forces or loads from within the reclosable package or bag to configure the secondary zipper in a shear configuration, rather than a peeling configuration, thereby increasing the interior burst strength of the package or bag.
