    • PURPOSE: To efficiently reflect infrared radiation rays by providing electrodes on cell walls and providing one electrode with a low radiation rate and a conductive material at least. CONSTITUTION: There is a light valve emulsion between a pair of confronted and separately installed cell walls. The respective cell walls have electrodes for impressing electric fields to a light valve on their tops and one electrode contains the low radiation rate conductive material at least. It is preferable for the cell wall having the low radiation rate conductive material to reflect double far infrared radiation rays at least in comparison with the cell wall having no low radiation rate conductive material. It is preferable for the low radiation rate conductive material to be a fluorine doped stannic oxide, the laminated object of dielectric-metal-dielectric or the laminated object of dielectric-metal-dielectric-metal-dielectric. Besides, it is preferable for the cell wall to be made of glass, plastic or the laminated object of glass-plastic.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film which has enough stability against UV rays and is not swollen with a liquid by crosslinking and hardening a SPD light bulb film which is deposited on a substrate and is not coated and then laminating another substrate on the surface of the film which is not coated. SOLUTION: A film forming liquid containing a crosslinking polymer, crosslinking agent, catalyst and liquid light bulb suspension 26 is applied by casting on a first substrate. In this process, the liquid light bulb suspension 26 contains suspended particles 33 and the liquid has one surface in contact with the first substrate and the other surface which is not coated. The crosslinking polymer is crosslinked and hardened by the reaction with the crosslinking agent in the presence of the catalyst to form a hardened SPD light bulb film 24. The film 24 has one plane in contact with the first substrate and the other uncoated plane which is not swollen with a swelling liquid. Then a second substrate is applied on the uncoated surface of the film and laminated with the SPD light bulb film 24.
