摘要： A nestable display crate (10) for bottle carriers having a floor (16) and a wall structure with that is designed to reveal the labels on the bottle carriers. The wall structure is of double thickness and comprises a lower wall portion (12) adjacent the floor (16) and a plurality of integrally formed contoured upper wall portions (14) extending upward from the lower wall portion. The wall structure is hollow throughout allowing the contoured upper wall portions (14) to be received within the lower wall (12) portion of a crate nested thereabove. The contoured upper wall portions (14) are tapered to be smaller in cross section at the top and larger near the lower wall portion to enable easy nesting and to avoid nested crates from becoming wedged together due to interference.

摘要： Reusable plastic trays (100) for storing and transporting beverage containers, such as twelve-ounce metal cans and two-liter PET bottles. The tray floor (104) has thereon an array of support areas for the containers. The tray rail (106) thereof is spaced high enough above the floor (104) and in a ''low-depth'' design to prevent the containers on the support areas from tipping during stacking and transport. A generally rectangular band (124) having upright inside and outside faces and an outward lip (130) on the top of the band (124) form the rail (106). Columns (108) between adjacent support areas interconnect the rail (106) and the floor (104) and angle downwardly and inwardly therebetween. The columns (108) open outwardly and thereby define vertical slots (138) into which the columns (108) of a similar tray (100) can be slidingly received. The trays (100) when empty can thereby be stacked in a deeply nesting position whereby each additional tray (100) adds generally only the height of its narrow rail to the height of the nested trays.

摘要： The stackable low depth bottle case (10) of the present invention includes four side walls (12) and a bottom portion (20). A plurality of upwardly projecting hollow columns (30) extend upwardly within the side walls (12). The columns (30), walls (12), and bottom portion (20) define a plurality of bottle retaining pockets (32). The bottle retaining pockets (32) have flat surfaces to permit retention of bottles without base indentations and to permit rotation of petaloid bottles. The columns (30) extend upwardly from the base portion (20) a distance approximately one third of the height of the bottles to be retained. The columns (30) may be hollow to permit empty cases to stack top to bottom. The lower surface (24) of the bottom portion (20) has circular concave portions with central retaining openings to facilitate stacking of loaded cases top to bottom. When a case (10) is disposed on a lower filled case, the bottle tops of the lower case are guided toward the central retaining openings by the circular concave portions.
