    • An electrical card connector (100) for electrically connecting an electrical card with a printed circuit board includes an insulative housing (10) with a plurality of passageways (101) and a plurality of terminals (20) received in the passageways. Each terminal includes a main body (201), a contacting portion (203) for electrically contacting with the card, a soldering portion (204) for soldering the electrical card connector to the printed circuit board. The main body includes a pair of parallel girders (2011) and a pair of fixing portions (2012) perpendicularly and downwardly extend from opposite ends of the pair of girders. The insulative housing defines a plurality of recesses (1012) for receiving corresponding fixing portions of the terminals.

    • A modular jack (100) includes an insulative housing (1) having a plug-receiving cavity (10), a number of conductive terminals (322) and an anti-mismating member (2) received in the housing (1) and a metal shell (4) shielding the housing (1). The anti-mismating member (2) includes a metal main portion (21) having a horizontal spring arm (212) and an insulative portion (22). The insulative portion (22) is located at a free end of the spring arm (212) and includes a sliding surface (222) and a stop surface (221) attached to an inner side of the sliding surface (222) at a free end thereof. When an undersized plug is inserted into the cavity (10), the leading edge of the undersized plug contacts the stop surface (222), preventing full insertion of the undersized plug into the cavity (10). When a mating plug is inserted into the cavity (10), the leading edge of the mating plug contacts the more forwardly-positioned sliding surface (222) before reaching the stop surface (221). This movement produces a corresponding movement in the anti-mismating member (2) and the stop surface (221) thereon such that the stop surface is located out of engagement with the leading edge of the mating plug, permitting full insertion of the mating plug into the cavity.

    • An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing and a conductive contact assembled to the housing. The housing including a board (10) and opposite side walls (13) projecting upwardly and downwardly beyond the board. The board includes a top surface (11) and a bottom surface (12). The contact includes a base portion (20), a first spring arm (21) for engaging with an antenna (3) and a second spring arm (22) for resiliently pressing a printed circuit board (4). The second spring arm includes a retention portion (221) and a resilient portion (222) extending from the distal end of the retention portion. A bent is formed at a location between the retention portion and the resilient portion, whereby providing the resilient portion with enough flexibility.

    • A SIM card connector (100) comprises a base (1), a cover (2) and a pivot (3) for pivotally connecting the cover with the base. The base includes an insulative housing (11) and a plurality of resilient conductive terminals received in the housing. The cover includes a top cover (21), a rear cover (23) on a rear edge of the top cover, opposite side plates on opposite sides of the top cover and a receptacle (20) for receiving a card (4) being defined by the top cover, the rear cover and the side plates. An elongate rib (241) is downwardly formed on the top cover and adjacent to the receptacle. The rib and the terminals cooperate together to secure reading of the inserted card and prevent a forward movement of the inserted card.
