Class 39(4) An apparatus for generating fusion reactions in a plasma confined by two substantially toroidal surfaces generated by the field lines of a magnetic field surrounding an annular electrical conductor having radially inwardly directed members for supporting it and supplying it with current, means also being provided to generate an electric field perpendicular to the magnetic field so that the plasma is caused. to rotate round the axis of symmetry, is characterised in that the electric field is generated between two electrodes each located in one of the substantially toroidal surfaces. In the Figure an annular conductor 3 is supported from a central post 1 by spokes 2 which also serve to supply current to the conductor. The conductor 3 is surrounded by two electrodes 4, 5 between which an electric field is maintained, the electrodes following the contours of the magnetic field set up by current flowing in conductor 3.

It further has a dial imprint, which is applied to the back of the transparent disk in the dial region. In addition, a polarizing filter disk is provided, which is disposed on the back of the transparent disk aligned with the indicator region and comprises a circular polarizing filter. An optical indicator unit is provided, which is disposed in alignment with the indicator region on the back of the transparent disk and the polarizing filter disk.

摘要： A system for automatic headlight leveling control in a motor vehicle has two level sensors which are offset in the longitudinal direction for measuring the vehicle body pitch angle in the form of a level difference. An electronic control unit determines a desired value for the headlight adjustment as a function of the first derivative of the directly measured or further processed level difference. In one embodiment of the invention, electronic control unit determines a static level difference and a dynamic level difference, and the desired value is determined as a function of the first derivative or the second derivative of the dynamic level difference.
