摘要： The present invention relates to a method of removing a metal from a stream of hot gas, wherein a particulate material comprising calcium and aluminum-silicate is contacted in the hot gas to absorb metal present in the hot gas. According to the invention, a meta-kaolin-containing substance is introduced in the hot gas, said meta-kaolin-containing substance being formed by thermally converting a material chosen from the group of I) waste paper, and ii) residue from the paper industry. The invention may be used to remove metals before, during or after the combustion or gasification of fossil fuels, biomass and organic waste.

摘要： Ski holding apparatus is disclosed which comprises a rack for supporting a plurality of skis in a substantially common plane. The rack features pairs of holders arranged across the rack with the holders of each pair spaced apart along the rack so as to support at least one ski, or preferably a pair of skis at two spaced apart locations.The holders are adapted to support the skis in inclined positions in which the mean transverse plane of the skis is arranged at angle of 30.degree. to 60.degree. to said common plane.In this way the skis on the rack require less space. The rack can either be used on vehicle roofs, in ski rooms, or in storage spaces within vehicles. Each holder is conveniently closed by a closure member to retain the skis.Various types of closure are described in which the individual closures for each holder may be either resilient or rigid and may also be supported from a common clamping arm.

摘要： A safety ski binding which includes a cable interconnecting a ski boot or plate attached to a ski boot with the ski. A restoring spring is provided which forces the cable toward a position holding the ski boot in an in-use skiing position on the ski, while permitting relative movement of the boot and ski and consequent extension of the cable. To prevent serious injuries in the case of full extension of the cable, the cable is disconnected, thereby fully separating the ski and boot. In preferred embodiments, a ski brake is provided to brake the separated ski.

摘要： A method and apparatus for conversion of paper residue into a mineral product uses a fluidized bed device with a distribution plate for securing an even distribution and supply of at least combustion air to the bed material and to the paper residue. An air box below the distribution plate supplies combustion air to the bed material and paper residue above the distribution plate. A heat exchanging section receives in separate parts ambient air and flue gases from the fluidized bed device for exchanging heat between flue gases and ambient air. The heat exchanging section is connected to the air box for supplying the heated ambient air to the air box for use as combustion air. A control system is employed for controlling the amount of bed material and the dimension of its particles and is arranged to monitor and maintain a process parameter within a predefined range.

摘要： A ski binding comprises a toe soleholder and a heel soleholder for the sole of the boot. One of the soleholders is movable transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski to a release position in response to an excessive torque. At least one sole-supporting member is provided, which is disposed near the torque-responsive soleholder and mounted to be movable relative to the surface of the ski. The sole-supporting member consists of a flexible hollow body and is filled with a gas or liquid and its lower wall is held to the surface of the ski. The walls of the hollow body are freely movable at least to such an extent that they can follow a movement of the sole of the boot relative to the ski until the boot is released by the respective soleholder.
