摘要： An ophthalmic dropper for distributing medicinal fluid to an eye is provided. The dropper comprises a fluid carrying container having a hollow body extending along a longitudinal axis, and an opening defined in the hollow body. A nozzle is coupled to the opening of the container for receiving fluid from the container. The nozzle defines an outlet port for distributing fluid from the nozzle. The outlet port of the nozzle is positioned to deliver fluid along an axis that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the container.

摘要： An apparatus for dispensing a controlled dose of a substance wherein the apparatus includes a compressible tube portion, a tip portion extending from the tube portion sized to receive a substance to be dosed, and a breakaway portion being removably coupled to the tip portion. The breakaway portion reveals an aperture in the tip portion upon removal of the breakaway portion. Finally, a valve member is slidably disposed in the tip portion such that the valve member can be movable in response to fluid pressure and/or manual force application to urge the substance within the tip portion out of the aperture as a controlled dose.
