[Class 132 (ii).] A teetotum especially for playing poker and poker dice, has one part fixed to an axle and one or more parts of different axial length but of the same cross-section loosely rotatable on the axle. An axle 4 with milled head 7 for spinning has a screwed connection with a balanced hexagonal part 1 bearing card values, as shown in Fig. 3, on its sides 1a, the part 1 being provided at the centre of its base with a small point 2 acting as a pivot. A balanced part 8 of hexagonal form but smaller in height than part 1, having poker hands, as shown in Fig. 4, marked on its sides 8a and having a shoulder 8b, is loosely rotatable on a shoulder 5 on the axle 4 between a collar 6 on the axle and the upper plane surface 3 of the part 1. The restricted contact area between the parts 1, 8 lessens the frictional force to relative motion between them. The axle 4 may be made to extend right through the part 1, the end of the axle forming the pivot. The axle 4 and part 1 may be made integral, the part 8 being placed on axle 4 above part 1 and being secured against falling off by means of a removable pin or collar screwed into or on the axle 4. A third part may be loosely rotatable on the axle 4 and may bear designations such as " spades," " hearts," " diamonds," " clubs and "joker." The device can be of any dimensions and can be of metal, ivory, bone, casein product, or wood. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 the device may be made of galalith. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.

摘要： The power adapter (114) has a power input (17, 18) and a power output (117) connected to a plurality of power consumption points (3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11) and a load-shedding device so designed that, when the consumed power exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the supply of current to at least a predetermined number (7, 8, 11) of power consumption points is interrupted in cascase in a pre-established order until the threshold value is complied with, whereupon the supply of current to these points is then restored in the reverse order. The load-shedding device includes a transmitting circuit for delivering at the power output (117) control signals to which receiving devices (115) are selectively responsive in order to interrupt or restore the supply of current to at least a predetermined number (7, 8, 11) of power consumption points.

摘要： In order to optimize power supply costs and reduce billing rates in terms of prices charged per kilowatt-hour, the current consumed by a domestic installation is compared with a reference value and the result is transmitted to a microprocessor. As a function of this result, the microprocessor disconnects one or a number of power outputs in cascade and in a programmable order. In addition, the microprocessor receives a signal from one output of a relay which is responsive to rate-change data transmitted over the power distribution network at 175 Hz. When the billing rate is at a high price level, the microprocessor disconnects one or a number of outputs at the same time and as a function of a program established beforehand by the user.
