[Class 52 (v)] [See also Group XXV] A bracket or clip for supporting a pipe or the like comprises a stem 2 which may be hollow and is enlarged at one end to form a base 3 and is provided at the other end with two quarter circular jaws 6 which carry the pipe &c. 7. The stem is slotted at 4, the slot allowing the jaws 6 to spring slightly apart when the pipe &c. 7 is pushed in. A clamping screw 8 may be provided to clamp the jaws together to hold the pipe 7 firmly. The bracket may have a hole 11 in its base to permit passage of a screw 12 by means of which it is secured to a plug let into the wall &c., or to a mounting member 13. The hole 11 may be tapped so that the bracket can be screwed onto a stud projecting from a wall &c. The jaws 6 have their surfaces 6 curved both longitudinally and laterally so that they merge gradually into the surface of the supported pipe and permit easy cleaning of bracket and pipe. Specifications 1456/88, [Class 16], and 6289/91, [Class 52], are referred to.

Clips, band.-In a clip for hose pipes having a substantially U-shaped lug or projection 11 to receive the screw 4 and tightening-nut 6, the lug is permanently attached to the metal band 2 by spreading the ends or by riveting. In a modification shown in Fig. 6, the projection 11 consists of a block having a hole 19 through it to pass the tightening-screw 4, the hole and screw being provided with flat faces 21 to prevent turning of the screw. A flexible socket, secured by adhesive to the hose and attached by the clip device to the tap, may be used.

摘要： Systems, methods, apparatus, processors and computer-readable media include a radiated testing module that executes a predetermined radiated performance test on a wireless device. The test dictates various performance-related parameters to measure and log at each of a plurality of predetermined positions. Further, the wireless device receives synchronization information operable to enable synchronization between the logged measurements and each of the positions. The synchronized log allows the wireless device, or another apparatus, to determine a radiated performance characteristic based on a predetermined analysis protocol. Further, the described embodiments allow for the determination of several radiated performance characteristics in a single test, using a single, unaltered wireless device.

摘要： An underlayment for supplementing one or more physical properties of wall, ceiling, and floor construction components is used to in a wall, ceiling, or floor assembly that may be fabricated on site. The assembly includes: first and second wall, ceiling, or floor construction components which each have physical properties and an underlayment component which has at least one supplemental physical property for supplementing the physical properties of the first and second construction components. The construction components may or may not be secured together with the underlayment sandwiched between the second and first construction components to form a wall, ceiling, or floor assembly with the supplemental physical property or properties of the underlayment. The supplemental physical property or properties of the underlayment may include, but are not limited to, latent storage of thermal energy, sound transmission reduction, and/or burn through resistance.
