摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity supply element and a ceramic separator thereof.SOLUTION: The ceramic separator is adapted to separate two electrode layers of the electricity supply element for permitting ion migration and electrical separation. The ceramic separator is made of ceramic particulates and an adhesive. The adhesive employs a dual binder system, which includes a linear polymer and a cross-linking polymer. The adhesion and the heat tolerance are enhanced by characteristics of the two types of polymers. The positions of the two electrode layers are maintained during high operation temperature to improve the stability and the battery performance. In addition, the ceramic separator enhances the ion conductivity and reduces a possibility of a micro-short to increase practical utilization.

Each electricity supply element includes a substrate, two current collector layers and two active material layers. Therefore, the ion migration is permitted by the holes, and electricity is outputted by the current collector layers. Hence, this new structure of the electricity supply elements reduces resistance.

摘要： A current collector is disclosed in the present invention. The current collector comprises a conductive substrate and a plurality of isolation regions. The conductive substrate has a plurality of holes. Each hole has two openings. The isolation regions, which only partially cover the surface of the conductive substrate, are disposed at least on the areas nearby the peripheral surface of the openings. Due to the electrical insulation of the isolation regions formed nearby the peripheral surface of the openings, the lithium ions would not deposit centrally close to the openings of the holes during the electrical-chemical reaction of the battery. Accordingly, only few lithium dendrites are formed inside the holes and grow towards the separator so that the position and the amount of the formation of the lithium dendrite can be effectively controlled. Thus, the safety of the battery can be greatly improved.
