Stockings.-In a waterproof overall stocking, the edges of the trapezoidal gusset e are attached to the edges of the opening c in the body of the stocking so as to form a thickness suitable to receive lacing - eyelets f. The lacing tightens the stocking and draws the gusset into longitudinal pleats. The lower parts of the edges are out away at g' to fit, in the closed position, against a piece g on the body of the stocking.
