    • The present invention is related to hearing aids, and in particular to the hearing assistance devices having an earpiece worn in or at the ear with wireless charging capability. The hearing assistance device consists of a microphone, a processor, and a transducer. Power supply unit has a rechargeable battery being recharged wirelessly by inductive power transfer from an ambient source of variable magnetic field, specifically from a moving-coil loudspeaker, that can be represented by a receiver of a telephone, a receiver of a cellular phone, or a headphone. If a person uses a headphone, a telephone, or a cell phone for 20 to 30 minutes a day, it is enough to fully recharge the battery of the hearing assistance device.

    • The invention provides a blast compression wave absorbing device, comprising means for generation of a negative pressure wave and positioned close to the facility or structure being protected {in atmosphere or under water). The device comprises at leas t one container having an interior filled with a gas or air having a pressure belo w ambient pressure (under vacuum). When a blast compression wave reaches the device, i n accordance with various embodiments of the invention, the container collapse s, ruptures, or its interior is being connected to the environment through rupturable diaphragm or fast-actuating valve. The ambient air starts to fill the internals of the container generating a negative pressure wave, which interteres with blast compression wave and reduces the pressure and impulse affecting the facility or structure being protected. Th e device can be used to protect high-risk facilities (nuclear and military installations, petrochemical plants, embassies), submerged structures, or to protect personnel in tunnels and bunkers from shock waves of fuel-air explosives.
