摘要： A drop tip (10) for conveying injection moulding material into a mould, and a manifold assembly including the drop tip are disclosed. The drop tip has a body extending from a nozzle, and includes a drop passage (48) extending from an internal bore (42). The internal bore has an arcuate lower end (44) terminating in an orifice (46). When molten material flows through the orifice, the arcuate surface causes any material residue to flow upwards, away from the orifice, to prevent retention of material in the internal bore.
