    • 237,826. Schultz, L. P. Feb. 24, 1925. Locks, permutation of the kind in which a number of sleeves 4 are mounted to rotate on the bolt 5 of the lock between plates 1, 2 connected by bolts. An additional sleeve 9 is provided beyond the plate 2 and is connected to it by clips entering an annular groove 21 in the sleeve. The bolt has a cap portion 11 with a number of points 14. To release the bolt the sleeves 4 and the sleeve 9 are aligned in the ordinary way and the bolt then turned till a marked point of the cap coincides with a known numeral on the sleeve 9 when it can be withdrawn. Projections 23, Fig. 4, are formed near the bore of the bolt on that side of the sleeves 4 nearest to the plate 1. If the bolt is turned while pulling it outwards the projections therein will contact projections 23 so that the sleeves are revolved with the bolt. Springs may be provided to hold the sleeves in any set position. The lock may be used on cycles &c. or if used on doors &c., pinions on concentric shafts are provided to engage teeth on the sleeves 4, the pinions being turned by lettered discs on the ends of the shafts.

    • A method of controlling a spray dryer apparatus having a spray dryer chamber (1), an air inlet (2), an inlet air control system (11) including a fan (13) and an air heater (14), a feed inlet (3), and an exhaust air outlet (4), comprising determining a content (Y) of moisture of inlet air, determining an inlet air temperature set value (T inlet ) in dependence of the inlet air moisture content (Y), determining an inlet air temperature measured value of inlet air between the air heater (14) and the spray dryer chamber (1), and regulating the inlet air temperature in dependence of the inlet air temperature set value and the inlet air temperature measured value, and determining an outlet air temperature of the exhaust air and regulating an inlet air flow rate in dependence of the outlet air temperature.
