    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire service life lengthening method of an unloader crane capable of lengthening the service life of a traverse wire, by reducing partial abrasion partially caused on a surface of the traverse wire by sliding on sheaves.
      SOLUTION: This unloader crane 10 includes a main trolley 4 and an auxiliary trolley 5 moving on the same rail, and a sea side traverse wire 20 and a land side traverse wire 21 are wound in its end part on a common traverse drum 11 via a plurality of sheaves in both trolleys 4 and 5. The trolleys 4 and 5 move on a girder and a boom in response to rotation of the traverse drum 11. The land side traverse wire 21 imparts a twist to the land side traverse wire 21 when a sliding surface on the sheaves 14A, 14B, 17A and 17B is abraded up to a predetermined level so that an abrasion surface is not positioned on the sliding surface on the sheaves 14A, 14B, 17A and 17B.
