摘要： A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for NR positioning in a 5G NR network, and to cause the UE to perform operations including decoding configuration signaling received from an LMF node of the 5G NR network. The configuration signaling includes a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration. A PRS activation request is encoded for transmission to the LMF node. A PRS received from a base station is decoded. The PRS is received based on the PRS activation request, and decoding the PRS is based on the PRS configuration. DL-PRS positioning measurements are performed based on the PRS, and the measurements are encoded for transmission to a location and management function (LMF) node of the 5G NR network.

摘要： Embodiments of user equipment (UE) and method for handover enhancement using the mobility state of the UE in a wireless network are described herein. In some embodiments, a UE adaptively selects handover initiation parameters based, at least in part, on the mobility state of the UE. In some of these embodiments, the handover initiation parameters may include a time-to-trigger (TTT) value and a scaling factor associated with the TTT value. Additionally, the handover initiation parameters may be further a channel condition (e.g., a reference signal received power (RSRP) of a serving cell). In some instances, a new measurement event can occur when the RSRP of the serving cell is above a threshold. For example, the UE may be refrained from transmitting a measurement report during the new measurement event. Furthermore, a measurement report timer can be used to refrain the UE from transmitting a measurement report before the timer expires.

摘要： The invention provides a method and apparatus for configuring a plurality of scheduling request triggers for a user equipment in a communication system. First, the base station determines a plurality of scheduling request triggers and a transmission type of each of the plurality of scheduling request triggers for the user equipment, based on the service characteristics of services of the user equipment; and then the base station transmits configuration information of the plurality of scheduling request triggers to the user equipment, the configuration information of the plurality of scheduling request triggers including the allocation way of the plurality of scheduling request triggers with respect to the services of the user equipment and the transmission type of each of the plurality of scheduling request triggers. The user equipment first receives the configuration information from the base station. After that the user equipment selects a scheduling request trigger corresponding to the current service based on the service characteristics of current service to be transmitted and the allocation way, and transmits the triggered scheduling request via the transmission type corresponding to the scheduling request trigger. By applying the technical solution of the invention, the efficient radio resource utilization could be achieved.

摘要： An apparatus for a base station configured for operation in a 5G NR network with non-terrestrial access includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the base station for UE location determination, the processing circuitry is to decode RRC signaling received from the UE via a satellite node. The RRC signaling includes first location information associated with the UE. Second location information associated with the UE is determined based on the trajectory of the satellite node. The first and second location information is encoded for transmission to an LMF for performing the UE location determination.
