    • A cellular location method uses a cellular location system including a database. The cellular location method obtains radio measurements from a user terminal located in the communications network, extracts information from the obtained radio measurements, determines the location of the user terminal based on the extracted information, and stores the determined location of the user terminal and the extracted information as an entry in the database. Additionally, the cellular location method estimates information for the user terminal for another location in the communications network. The estimated information for the user terminal may be based upon the extracted information for the user terminal or upon obtained information from a co-sited communications network. A location of the specified user terminal can be obtained based on a matching score between measurements from the specified user terminal and the stored user terminal measurements including the extracted information and the estimated information.

    • Optimizing a plurality cell sites or sectors in a wireless network includes calculating modifications to a plurality of network parameters for optimizing wireless network performance; evaluating the modification groups to determine conflicts between modifications for a same network parameter; and eliminating the conflicts between modifications for the same network parameter within the modification groups. The modification groups are used to alter at least one network parameter of the critical cell sites or sectors, or of a best neighbor cells sites or sectors for achieving a desired improvement in communications within the wireless network. Optimization is further enhanced by determining the best previous modifications to the wireless network when performance continues to be degraded. Altering wireless network parameters of the critical cell sites or sectors, or the best neighbor cell sites or sectors is performed continuously using the stored modification groups until the desired improvement in communications in the wireless network is achieved.

    • The present invention provides a method for selecting and routing data in an ad-hoc mobile wireless network having a plurality of Nodes including multiple sources and destinations. The method includes sending a forward control packet from a source to the destination via at least one intermediate Node at intervals of time, where the intermediate Node is randomly selected. Each of the intermediate Nodes store weights of the neighbor Nodes. When the forward control packets reach the destination Node, they are evaluated in accordance with one or more given parameters and send back as backward control packets storing the evaluation results. As each of the intermediate Nodes receive the backward control packets, the weights of the corresponding neighbor Nodes are modified based on the stored evaluation results. Similarly, as the backward control packets are received at the source Nodes and the weights of the corresponding neighbor Nodes are modified based on the stored evaluation results. Finally, a group of routing routes to the destination are selected based on the modified weights of the neighbor Nodes and data packets are send from the source to the destination via the intermediate Nodes upon selection of the group.

    • The present invention provides a method for selecting and routing data in an ad-hoc mobile wireless network having a plurality of Nodes including multiple sources and destinations.
