    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems such as intractability peculiar to oil, requirement of time for coating, and insufficiency of lubricity when a lubricant oil such as a mineral oil is used as friction-reducing measures in a press molding or the like of a thin plate as a conventional method, and such as difficulty of operation in post-treatment of the oil, and environmental problems.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing a so-called vegetable lubricant-coated thin plate comprises dissolving and emulsifying a lubricant containing adequate amounts of lipid and calcium carbonate, and other components comprising a carbohydrate and a protein in warmed water, and previously coating the resultant emulsion on the surface of the thin plate and drying the coated product so as to be attached uniformly. The coating and drying method can be carried out intermittently or continuously and in high efficiency. The vegetable lubricant-coated thin plate produced by the method exhibits good coat adhesion properties, facilitates the press molding operation using the thin plate, provides work environment better than that of a conventional method, and enables a good press-molded product to be produced in high efficiency.
