摘要： A filter element having multiple formed layers of filtration media is disclosed. The media are layered so as to form a pore size gradient. The filter element is capable of removing both solid and liquid particulates from a moving fluid stream. The filter element has high strength and compressibility. The layers can be supported on a porous or perforate support to provide mechanical stability during filtering operations. The filtration media layers can be formed into various filter element forms such as panels, cartridges, inserts, and the like.

摘要： An air filtration media pack is provided having a plurality of layers of single facer media. The layer of single facer media includes a fluted sheet, a facing sheet, and a plurality of flutes extending between the fluted sheet and the facing sheet and having a flute length extending from a first face of the filtration media pack to a second face of the filtration media pack. A first portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered air flowing into the first portion of the plurality of flutes, and a second portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered air from flowing out of the second portion of the plurality of flutes so that air passing into one of the first face and the second face of the media pack and out the other of the first face and the second face of the media pack passes through media to provide filtration of the air. The fluted sheet includes repeating internal peaks facing toward the facing sheet and repeating external peaks facing away from the facing sheet. In addition, the fluted sheet can include at least one ridge extending along at least 50% of the flute length between an internal peak and an adjacent external peak. Additional characterizations of an air filtration media pack, air filtration media, and methods of making and using are provided.

摘要： A filtration media pack is provided having a plurality of layers of single facer media. The layer of single facer media includes a fluted sheet, a facing sheet, and a plurality of flutes extending between the fluted sheet and the facing sheet and having a flute length extending from a first face of the filtration media pack to a second face of the filtration media pack. A first portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered fluid flowing into the first portion of the plurality of flutes, and a second portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered fluid flowing out of the second portion of the plurality of flutes so that fluid passing into one of the first face and the second face of the media pack and out the other of the first face and the second face of the media pack passes through media to provide filtration of the fluid. The filtration media pack can be provided with increased filtration media compared with commonly used z-media packs. Techniques for increasing the amount of filtration media available for filtration include increasing the flute density, reducing masking, adjusting flute width height ratio, increasing flute density, adjusting flute shape, and reducing plug length. Techniques for increasing performance while reducing initial pressure drop are also provided. A filter element containing the filtration media pack is provided, and the filter element includes a seal member extending around a periphery of the filtration media pack. A method for manufacturing a filtration media pack and a method for using a filtration media pack are provided.

摘要： Clustering is routinely applied in the exploratory analysis of microarray data. Missing entries arise from blemishes on the microarrays. The present invention provides a new method, and computer program and/or computer product thereof to impute missing values. The method involves the steps of clustering microarray data by partitioning the data into a select number of clusters, wherein each data point is iteratively moved from one cluster to another, until two consecutive iterations have resulted in the same partition pattern; obtaining a select number of estimates of the data in the clusters by probabilistic interference; and averaging the select number of estimates to obtain missing values in the microarray data. The method is superior to other imputation models as measured by root mean squared errors.

摘要： A filtration media pack is provided having a plurality of layers of single facer media.
