    • A cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a cleaning unit, apparatus frames, a locking member, and air cylinders. The cleaning unit has a supply roll on which a web for cleaning a cylinder/roller is wound and a take-up roll for taking up the web drawn from the supply roll, and rotatably supports the supply and take-up rolls. The apparatus frames detachably support the cleaning unit. The locking member fixes and holds the cleaning unit on the apparatus frames. The air cylinders are fixed on the apparatus frames and rotate the take-up roll in a direction to take up the web.

    • A form roller apparatus for a printing press includes an ink form roller, compression coil spring, bolt, and U-groove. The ink form roller is in contact with an oscillating roller, and slides in an axial direction to follow motion of the oscillating roller in an axial direction. The ink form roller has a roller shaft which is supported rotatably and a roller main body which is supported to be movable in the axial direction of the roller shaft. The compression coil spring biases the roller main body in the axial direction. The bolt moves forward/backward in a radial direction at an end of the roller shaft. The U-groove is provided to the roller main body and is engaged by the bolt to regulate slide motion of the ink form roller in the axial direction.

    • A roller rotary drive transmitting apparatus includes an internal gear, sun gear, at least one planet gear, carrier, anilox roller, and controller. The internal gear is rotatably driven by a printing press motor. The sun gear is rotatably driven by an anilox roller motor. The planet gear meshes with the sun gear and internal gear. The carrier rotatably supports the planet gear and rotates around the sun gear when at least one of the internal gear and sun gear rotates. The roller is connected to the carrier and rotates upon rotation of the carrier. The controller controls the anilox roller motor in an operative state when the printing press motor is kept stopped.

The plurality of cylinders are arranged in parallel to each other in an axial direction and includes a plate cylinder. The main drive system is constituted by a plurality of drive gears that drive the plurality of cylinders by transmitting rotation of a drive unit thereto. The auxiliary drive system is connected to the main drive system and includes at least one drive gear that drives the plate cylinder by transmitting rotation of the main drive system thereto. The torsion bar applies a braking force to the plate cylinder through the auxiliary drive system in a direction opposite to that of rotation of the main drive system.

    • A plate removing apparatus includes a plate cylinder, cover, loader, cover members, and plate removal port. The plate cylinder is rotatably supported between a pair of frames opposing each other through a predetermined distance. The cover is provided to a front side of the plate cylinder and supported between the pair of frames. The loader swings between a closing position to close at least part of a space formed between the pair of frames and an opening position to open the space. The cover members move from a retreat position to an operative position, when the loader is located at the opening position, to close the space opened by the loader. The plate removal port is formed in the cover members. A plate mounted on the plate cylinder is removed through the plate removal port when the cover members are located at the operative position.
