    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a housing side sealing ring of contamination-free rotary equipment enabling to take severe contamination measures.
      SOLUTION: On a shaft passing wall part 20 of a housing 21, a fluorine resin coating layer 2d continued to a fluorine resin coating layer 2a on an inner surface of the housing is coated and formed to make a circular plane, which is a fixed surface 25 provided for the fixing structure orthogonally to a rotation shaft 22, and a circular metal seal flange 3 with a working face 3e formed attaching to an outer diameter side part 25a of the fixed surface 25 is mounted so as to be freely fastened in a shaft line direction with the housing side sealing ring 4 internally engaged and held. When the seal flange 3 is fastened on the shaft passing wall part 20 so that the working face 3e attaches to the outer diameter side part 25a of the fixing surface 25, thereby, the housing side sealing ring 4 is secondarily sealed by an O-ring 32, and is fixed on the shaft passing wall part 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft seal device in a contaminant-free rotary apparatus capable of taking stringent contamination countermeasures, and capable of exercising a favorable shaft sealing function even under a high pressure condition.
      SOLUTION: A fixing face 25 covered by a fluororesin coating layer 2d is provided on a shaft piercing wall part 20 of a housing 21, and a metal seal brush 3 is attached to the shaft piercing wall part 20 in a state of abutting its working face 3e on the fixing face 25. By this, secondary sealing is carried out between a back face 4a of a stationary sealing ring 4 and the fixing face 25 via a first O-ring 32. A balance diameter adjusting tube 54 covered by a fluororesin coating layer 55 is fit on a rotary shaft 22, and a rotary sealing ring 6 is fit on the adjusting tube 54 via a second O-ring 64. By this a balance diameter and a seal face width are set largely in comparison with when fitting the rotary sealing ring 6 on the rotary shaft 22 via an O-ring with the same cross-sectional diameter as the second O-ring 64.
