    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparison inspection device which is capable of directly inspecting the quality of several types of heat insulation materials, and to provide an inspection method therefor.SOLUTION: A halogen lamp is used as a heat source 1, and a thermometer which is incorporated in a data logger is used as a temperature sensor 3 for detecting radiation heat from the halogen lamp. The thermometer which is incorporated in the data logger is tightly attached to a heat insulation material 2 which is an inspection object in such a manner that a reduced radiation heat amount after the radiation heat of the halogen lamp has penetrated the inspection object 2 can be measured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of checking a reduction amount of the quantity of heat infiltrated to a building by solar radiation regarding a coating subjected to the check in response to a requirement from a user who wants to know a degree of energy saving effects beforehand when introducing an adoption of the heat barrier coating to an individual case in a plant or the like.SOLUTION: A sheet 1 to be checked is prepared, and a heat barrier coating is applied to the sheet 1 beforehand. A thermometer 3 with a data logger is installed in the center of the check sheet. On the other hand, the same type of a data logger thermometer 4 is disposed on an existent roof in the vicinity of the sheet 1 to be checked. Temperature characteristics of both the thermometers with respect to solar radiation are measured, and data of energy saving effects are digitized from comparison data.
