摘要： An internet terminal, which includes a communication unit for sending and receiving packet data, an encryption unit for encrypting and decrypting packet data, a packet generation unit for generating packet data to be sent to a server apparatus, a protocol determination unit for determining a communication protocol to be used between the internet terminal and the server apparatus, a control request reading unit for reading in packet data and a control request packet that includes a control request, a control unit for receiving control information and controlling the internet terminal or a terminal apparatus accordingly. Further, the internet terminal includes a server certificate authentication unit for authenticating the validity of a server certificate sent by the server apparatus, a client certificate management unit for sending a client certificate to the server apparatus, and a storage unit for storing a terminal ID and other information.

摘要： The present invention provides a transmitting apparatus, a receiving apparatus, and a file transfer system, by which processing of transferring a file is efficiently executed, even if the file transfer is temporarily stopped for a long time in the file transfer system in which the transmitting apparatus voluntarily transmits the file to the receiving apparatus. In the file transfer system of the present invention, a sink apparatus, which is the receiving apparatus, receives file data included in a file from a source apparatus, which is the transmitting apparatus, and then stores the received file data. When a size of the stored data is inquired from the source apparatus, the sink apparatus informs the size to the source apparatus. Further, the source apparatus detects stopping of the file transfer. After the detecting of the stopping of the file transfer, the source apparatus inquires the size of stored data to the sink apparatus. Still further, the source apparatus transmits file data remaining in the file, based on the size notified by the sink apparatus in response to the inquiry.

摘要： A communication system includes a device and a server connected to the Internet, which transfers communications between the device and a terminal connectable to the Internet via the server. The device periodically transmits a notice packet to the server. The server transmits a connection request packet to the device in reply to the notice packet when a transfer to the device is requested from the terminal.
