摘要： It is intended to provide a synthetic resin bottle, in which the stable no-leak condition can be maintained up to a certain cap-turning angle, and air-tightness of the bottle can be fully secured, even if the cap is falsely turned. The body 2 of the synthetic resin bottle is configured to have a smooth seal surface 8 with no irregularity over the entire circumference in the upper portion of the outer neck wall where no parting line is formed. In this configuration, a stable no-leak condition can be maintained up to a certain cap-turning angle, and air-tightness of the bottle can be fully secured, even if the cap is falsely turned.

摘要： A lighting device controls power to a discharge lamp according to the temperature detected by a lamp sensor, which detects temperature around the discharge lamp. The discharge lamp has an arc tube and an outer bulb between which an airtight space is defined. Therefore, the lamp can be actuated without reduction in luminosity even at low temperatures. Also, the lamp luminosity rises quickly.

The annular groove has reinforcing ribs with a level higher than a groove bottom of the annular groove and lower than the surface of the main body portion. The container main body portion includes reinforcing lateral ribs each having a concave portion which is positioned at the same level as a surface of the container, which or forms a slight step relative to the surface of the container. The main body portion has a plurality of ridges converging toward the associated central convergent point, respectively, thereby defining multi-faceted concave walls inclined toward the associated convergent points, respectively.

Safe handling of the container is thus promoted, especially for the stacked storage of containers in a sideways-laid orientation.

The luminescence tube has a long and slender airtight glass bulb with a nonlinear form part, a pair of electrodes and a phosphor layer formed on the inside surface of the glass bulb. A gap is formed between the circumference of the luminescence tube and an outside glass tube. The luminescence tube encloses an electric discharge medium coating mercury and a rare gas. An inorganic substance layer is formed at least at the nonlinear form part either on the outer surface of the luminescence tube, on the inner surface of the outside glass tube, or both. The inorganic substance layer has a softening point higher than the softening point of the glass.
