    • In a method of manufacturing a drip absorbent sheet, the drip absorbent sheet having: a plurality of holes through which drip, which is juice released from foodstuff, can pass; a porous resin film containing 1 to 3% by mass of a surface-active agent, and a liquid absorbent layer laminated with the porous resin film. The method includes at least: a laminating step of laminating the porous resin film and the liquid absorbent layer; a cutting step of cutting a laminate obtained in the laminating step into a product of a predetermined product dimension; and a product stacking step of stacking the product in sheets after the cutting step into stacks of a plurality of sheets. In at least one of the cutting step and the product stacking step, a contactless charge neutralization process is performed with respect to a front surface side of the porous resin film.

    • An effective technique for balancing mask breathability and mask trapping capability at higher levels is provided in a mask to be worn on a wearer's face. A mask 1 has a mask body 10 that covers at least wearer's mouth and nose and a pair of ear straps 20 that extend from both sides of the mask body 10 and are designed to be hooked around wearer's ears. The mask body 10 includes a first fiber sheet and a second fiber sheet which are electret nonwoven fabric sheets formed of polyolefin fiber. The first fiber sheet is a nonwoven fabric sheet having an average fiber diameter of 0.5 to 3 μm and a basis weight of 1.5 to 5 g/m2, and the second fiber sheet is a nonwoven fabric sheet having a larger average fiber diameter and a heavier basis weight than the first fiber sheet.

    • Provided is a multi-layered water-decomposable fibrous sheet with a plurality of layers each having a different fibrous constitution being integrated, including a top layer on a top surface and a back layer on a back surface. The top layer includes fibrillated rayon of at least 3% by mass of all fibers constituting the top layer. The fibrillated rayon has a degree of beating of at most 700 cc, and has primary fibers of a predetermined fiber length and microfibers extending from the primary fibers. The microfibers are entangled with and/or hydrogen-bonded to at least either of other microfibers and other fibers. The back layer includes fibers containing no fibrillated rayon, the fibers entangled with and/or hydrogen-bonded to each other, or the back layer includes the fibrillated rayon in an amount smaller than that in the top layer. The microfibers of the fibrillated rayon are entangled with and/or hydrogen-bonded to at least either of other microfibers and other fibers.
