摘要： PURPOSE:To rapidly measure antigen-antibody reaction with respect to many specimens, by reacting an antibody with the antigen supported by an insoluble carrier particle in a liquid medium under heating to sediment a reaction product and subsequently measure the optical change of the reaction liquid. CONSTITUTION:An antigen may be supported in an arbitrary amount by an insoluble carrier and reacted with an antibody in a liquid medium under heating. Subsequently, the reaction product formed by antigen-antibody reaction coagulates latex to sediment in the liquid medium but it is especially pref. to forcibly sediment the reaction product. Further, after the reaction product is sedimented, the optical change of the reaction liquid is measured to investigate the antigen-antibody reaction. For example, the light transmissivity or quantity of scattering light of the supernatant part of the reaction liquid, that is, the unreacted part thereof is measured. At this time, the unreacted part is sucked or the unreacted substance is accumulated on one side by increasing the number of rotations in centrifugal separation to about 10,000 times and the light transmissivity of the reaction product sedimented on the entire surface of a bottom part is measured. By this method, the antigen-antibody reaction of a large number of specimens can be measured rapidly.
