    • The present invention provides conjugates comprising a substituted aminopyridine covalently attached to an organic molecule via an amide bond. Such conjugates find utility as substrates for amide hydrolases, where the substituted aminopyridine acts as a fluorescent reporter of amide hydrolase activity. As a result, the conjugates described herein can advantageously be used in assays to detect amide hydrolase activity based upon measuring the fluorescence of a substituted aminopyridine that is released after amide hydrolysis. The conjugates of the present invention are also particularly useful in screening assays, which enable the identification of inhibitory molecules for amide hydrolases and other enzymes. The identified amide hydrolase inhibitors can be used in the treatment of a variety of diseases and disorders associated with aberrant amide hydrolase activity.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tastefully cook rice without touching rice and water with hands directly by mounting a mesh cover which has a mesh that can not pass through rice at a transparent cylindrical vessel whose bottom is round and which is soft and has restoring force with a screw. SOLUTION: A mesh cover 3 is opened then rice is put in a vessel 1 and the mesh cover 3 is closed when a user washes rice. Water is poured from a mesh part of the mesh cover 3 by closing the mesh cover 3. When the user discharges water, water is discharged from the mesh cover 3 in the same way by turning the vessel 1 upside down. When the user washes rice, rice are washed with rubbing from an outside of the vessel 1 by collecting rice at a lower part turning the mesh cover 3 upward after water is discharged. When the user rinses rice, water is poured from the mesh part of the mesh cover 3 again, then discharged by rubbing the vessel 1 several times while receding rice and water in the vessel 1. A fixed quantity of water is added by using a scale 4 which is provided at the vessel 1, then water and rice are poured in an inner pot of a rice cooker by opening the mesh cover 3.
