摘要： There is provided a method or a system for obtaining an aqueous solution substantially free of inorganic anionic pollutants selected from perchlorate, cyanide or chromate present therein, comprising contacting the aqueous solution containing said pollutants with a complex comprising micelles of an organic cation adsorbed on clay for removal of said pollutants from the aqueous solution. The method and system may also utilize a mixture of a complex of an organic cation adsorbed on clay as a micelle, and a granular material or a complex of an organic cation adsorbed on clay as a micelle. There is also provided a system comprised of a column accommodating the mixture of a complex of an organic cation adsorbed on clay as a micelle, and a granular material.

摘要： Slow-Release agrochemical formulations for the prevention of leaching and contamination of soil and ground water. The agrochemicals are organic compounds with non-ionic and non-polar molecular structures, which are adsorbed to clays whose surface properties have been transformed from hydrophilic to organophilic by previous adsorption of an organic cation, usually of quaternary ammonium structure, having at least one benzyl group attached to the ammonium nitrogen atom. The intermolecular interactions on the clay surface result in a reduction of the solubility in water of the agrochemical, preventing its leaching in the field.

摘要： The present invention relates to a slow-release pesticide system in agrarian applications that includes but is not limited solely to insecticide, fungicide and herbicide formulations. The system includes a pesticide incorporated into vesicles that is formed by neutral lipids (thereby enhancing the water solubility of the pesticide). The vesicles that incorporate the pesticide are, in turn, adsorbed, on a clay mineral. The formulations are appropriate for pesticide molecules of any type (hydrophobic, acid and basic). Said pesticide formulation allows slow release of the active ingredient, thereby reducing the risk of pollution of groundwater and surface water.
