摘要： The invention is directed to a pre-metered dry powder inhaler provided with a dry powder dose of tiotropium and excipient(s) loaded into a container comprising a dry, high barrier seal, which prevents ingress of moisture so that the fine particle structure of the powder dose is preserved. 摘要： A method for administration and preparation of pharmaceutical dry powder doses are disclosed. The metered dry powder doses are formed from a finely divided dry powder of an selected anticholinergic agent to be used in a dry powder inhaler device. The metered dry powder medicinal dose is arranged as a medicinally effective quantity of the selected medicament onto a dose bed and moisture-tight sealed by using a high barrier seal, for introduction into an inhaler device provided with an Air-razor device for obtaining a fine particle fraction, FPF, of at least 30 - 50 % of delivered powder mass when suction through the inhaler is applied, whereby the dose is delivered to and deposited in the lung of the user during a single inhalation effort.

摘要： A dry powder medicament preparation is disclosed. Also methods of forming and loading metered doses of the preparation into dose containers intended for insertion into a dry powder inhaler are disclosed. The doses are arranged for delivery to a user by inhalation, whereby a high delivered fine particle dose results. The preparation is adapted for a dose forming process, which may be based on volumetric filling or electro-dynamic deposition of the powder particles, such that a metered dose of the preparation is characterized by having at least one load of held together particles joined in a macrostructure of predefined dimensions and presenting an intended mechanical strength. The pharmacologically active ingredient presents at least 50 % by mass of particles in a typical aerodynamic diameter range from 1 to 5 µm. Furthermore, a dose thus formed is then loaded into a high barrier container.
