    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a cap in a single operation without welding or bolt fastening and fit the cap firmly to a support. SOLUTION: A downward protruding part 4 with grooves 11 and a through hole 10 is provided near the apex on the inside of a cap 1 applied in the case of having a support through-bolt 3 for fitting a bracket or the like to the vicinity of the upper end of the support 5, and the base end parts of long and narrow engaging fittings 2 formed of elastic material are fixed to the grooves 11 face to face with the grooves 11 on both sides of the downward protruding parts 4. The engaging fittings 2 have recessed engaging parts 15 bent to come in contact with the bolt 3 in the form of coming around to the lower face of the bolt 3 from both sides of the outer periphery of the bolt 3. The cap 1 and the support 5 are provided with a protrusion provided inside the cap 1, and a cutout 9 formed at the end part of the support 5, as means for preventing the rotation of the cap 1.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a safe nipper preventing chips from colliding with a worker's face, etc., and without requiring mounting a returning spring by fixing thin covers of metallic plate, etc., so as to cover the back side of nipper cutting edges on the both sides of cutting edges. CONSTITUTION: When a lead is cut by a nipper, a part of the lead to be cut off is projected from the gap between both edge faces to the back side of the nipper 1. This nipper 1 is equipped with a cover 2 of a thin metallic plate, etc., to cover the rear part of the projected lead. A gap between the cover 2 and the edges is to be the maximum value of the lead length plus a margin. The nipper 1 can be used as conventional ones and when a lead of an electronic part is cut, the chip collides with the cover 2 and falls down from the gap between the cover 2 and the cutting edges. The cover 2 can be in an arc or a rectangule in practice. The cover 2 can be fastened by a screw or welding.
