摘要： Obstacles in the path of a vehicle are detected by an ultrasonic radar system which measures the time between the instance of transmission of an ultrasonic wave pulse and another instance of reception of an echo signal. The transmitting period is controlled to be retarded from a reference or standard transmitting period by a time length including the measured time at every other transmitting period. The measured time is compared with a reference time to check whether a detected obstacle is within a dangerous range. This comparison is effected at every other transmitting period so that a false detection signal caused from a far obstacles is prevented from being produced. As a result of the comparison an alarming device is energized to alert the vehicle driver when necessary.

摘要： A portable device for receiving and sending a signal to an automotive device control system includes a communication means for receiving and sending the signal to the automotive device control system, a control means for controlling the communication means, a potential detection means for detecting electrical potential of a battery used to energize the communication means and the control means, and a detection control means for controlling detection operation of the potential detection means. The detection control means operates the potential detection means either in a continuous monitor mode or in an intermittent monitor mode in order to detect potential of the battery. The intermittent monitor mode is used when potential of the battery is equal to or higher than a predetermined potential, and the continuous monitor mode is used when potential of the battery is lower than a predetermined potential.

摘要： A synchronization circuit modulates a data signal with an amplitude shift keying (ASK) modulation method using an ASK modulation signal to output a modulated signal under the condition that the ASK modulation system and data signal are synchronized with each other. A drive circuit executes a push-pull operation based on the modulated signal and a resonance circuit resonates, under the push-pull operation of the drive circuit, to transmit a transmission signal in a radio wave. The synchronous signal controls a switching device to cut off a connection between the resonance circuit and the ground in synchronization with the modulated signal. Thereby, the transmission signal is generated sharply in the signal transmitter.

摘要： In a vehicular entry control system, a code signal transmitter of a card carried by a driver modulates by a card-specific code a signal received from a transmitter/receiver of a control unit mounted in a vehicle and transmits the modulated signal to the control unit in return. The transmitter/receiver demodulates the modulated signal and a microcomputer automatically unlocks a vehicle door when the demodulated signal is correct indicating that the card is carried into a demodulating area. The microcomputer locks the door upon a driver's manual operation on a locking switch of the card. The microcomputer prohibits the automatic unlocking as long as the card is within the demodulating area after the locking in response to the manual operation.

摘要： An ultrasonic detector for roadway vehicles comprises an array of electroacoustic transducers mounted on the rear of the vehicle. The transducers are sequentially driven by a transmitter circuit to transmit a pulsed, laterally shifting ultrasonic energy toward an object located behind the vehicle in one of plural regions defined by partially overlapped directivity patterns of adjacent transducers. A receiver circuit is coupled to the transducer array to receive echos returning from the object during the interval between successive beam transmissions. A logic circuit detects the lateral position of and the distance to the object for giving relevant indications on a display unit, the audible tone being variable depending on object distance. An audible warning device is optional.
