摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a flat roofing frame permitting installation of a flat roof even if the flat roof is not perfectly flat and capable of being stored and transported simply and being handled easily.
SOLUTION: The flat roofing frame comprises a frame member, two legs different in length and four plates connecting the frame member and the individual legs, the individual plates are fixed on the frame, the two legs are turnably installed on the two plates with bolts and nuts and the plates and the legs are provided with holes to be used for fixing with bolts and nuts. Before installation, the two legs are folded in parallel with the frame member, and in an installation site the bolts are inserted into the holes to fix the two plates and the legs and the bolts and the nuts used to turnably install the legs are fastened to fix the frame member and the legs through the plates.

The rare earth alloy magnetic layers 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12 have tetragonal R2Fe14B (R is Nd and/or Pr) as a primary constituent phase, and each has a thickness of not less than 50 nm nor more than 500 nm.

摘要： A star-shaped coupler for distributing the light signal emitted by any one of input-output devices among the other devices is disposed among these devices. The coupler comprises a plurality of single-core optical fibers for branching purposes. Each one end of those branching fibers whose number is less than the number of the input-output devices by one is bound together and is opposed to the end surface of the output single-core fiber for one of the input-output devices. The other end surfaces of the branching fibers are opposed to their respective end surfaces of the input single-core fibers for the other input-output devices. The end surfaces of the output fibers for the other input-output devices are connected with the end surfaces of the input fibers through the branching fibers. The other ends of the branching fibers which are opposed to their respective end surfaces of the input fibers are bound together to form bound portions corresponding to the input fibers.

摘要： A cavity has a longitudinal hollow having opposite open ends. An excitation source, such as a YAG rod, is accommodated in the hollow of the cavity. A hollow, cylindrical rod holder is inserted into each of the opposite open ends of the hollow and is fitted over a corresponding end of the YAG rod. A seal is fitted into a hollow of the rod holder adjacent to a portion of the rod holder fitted over the end of the YAG rod. The seal includes an annular seal body with a U-shaped section, e.g. made from Teflon®, and fitted over an outer periphery of the YAG rod to grip the YAG rod, as well as a spring fitted in a groove of the seal body provided by the U-shaped section so as to circumferentially surround a gripped portion of the YAG rod.
