    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent duplication or alteration of a credit card and confirm identity of an individual and prevent identity theft or misuse. SOLUTION: A tamper-proof secure card comprises biometric data of an individual for identifying or confirming authority of the individual. Prior to issuing the secure card a cardholder's biometric data is stored in a transparent biometric data section of the secure card. Also, a unique card number is created using a cardholder's biometric data and stored in the card. When the secure card is used and the cardholder inputs biometric data, the input biometric data is then compared to the biometric data stored in the card. If the input biometric data matches the stored biometric data, the identity of the cardholder is confirmed. The unique card number can be accessed.     • A modular LED lamp structure includes a light emitting module, a driver module and a heat dissipating element. The heat dissipating element is utilized to reduce a working temperature of the LED lamp. The light emitting module is disposed on the heat dissipating element and connected electrically to the driver module. The driver module is detachably disposed in the heat dissipating element. The light source element is detachable and may be replaced to other lamp with different types. Therefore, the maintenance cost of the LED lamp is reduced. Also, the modules can be replaced without having to discard the whole set of LED lamp. Thus the unnecessary waste is eliminated to achieve cost-effectiveness and environment protection.

    • A single use syringe with locking needle safety cover comprising a plunger arm, plunger tip, syringe body, tip retaining sleeve, and locking needle safety cover is disclosed. The tip retaining arms grasp the plunger tip. After the plunger arm is pulled backwards, sleeve ribs of the tip retaining sleeve prevent the tip retaining sleeve from moving in a forward direction. As the plunger arm is pushed forward, the tip retaining arms are no longer surrounded by the tip retaining sleeve and the tip retaining arms move outwards and release the plunger tip. After the plunger tip has been released from the plunger arm, the plunger tip and the plunger arm cannot be reconnected and the single use syringe with locking needle safety cover cannot be reused. When rotated, the locking needle safety cover traps the injection needle thereby preventing retraction of the locking needle safety cover.
