    • A lens module includes a barrel defining a first through hole, two or more lenses received in the first through hole of the barrel including at least one movable lens, and at least one driving device moving the movable lens. The driving device includes a fixed portion, a movable portion, hydraulic fluid, and an adjustment pole. The fixed portion is secured on the inner surface of the barrel and defines a trough with an opening facing along the axis of the lens module. The movable portion has a first end and an opposite second end, the first end inserted into the trough and sealing the space between the first end and the bottom wall of the trough, and the second end secured to a movable lens. The hydraulic fluid fills the space. The adjustment pole is inserted into the trough from a second through hole running through the barrel and a wall of the trough adjacent to the barrel, and is movable in the second through hole.

    • An exemplary lens module includes a barrel, a holder, an optical assembly, an image sensor, at least one permanent-magnet, a number of electromagnets, and a control unit. The barrel is threadedly engaged in the holder. The barrel is capable of being linearly movable relative to the holder. The optical assembly is received in the barrel. The image sensor is received in the holder and is configured for capturing images. The at least one permanent magnet is mounted on the barrel. The electromagnets are mounted on the holder and surround the barrel therein for magnetical interaction with the permanent magnet. The control unit electrically is connected to the electromagnets and is configured for changing the magnetic polarities of the electromagnets adjacent to the permanent magnet to create a combined magnetic torsional force applied onto the permanent magnet, thereby rotating the barrel relative to the holder.

    • A portable electronic device with a camera includes: a main body (14); a cover body (12); a driver gear (162) fixed relative to the cover body and having a plurality of teeth (1622); a driven gear (164) having a plurality of teeth and meshing with teeth of the driver gear; a lens (1642) installed in the driven gear; and a hinge mechanism pivotally connecting the main body with the cover body. When the cover body is rotated to an open position, the driver gear rotates with the cover body, thereby driving the driven gear to rotate. The lens in the driven gear is thereby exposed to the external environment for taking photos. When the cover body is rotated back to a closed position, the lens is thereby rotated back into the main body where it is protected from the external environment.

    • A portable telephone (10) includes comprises a main body (11), a detachable member (12), a data transmission cable (13), and a spring biased spool (20). The detachable member includes an earphone module (121), a microphone module (122), and a rolling member (14). The detachable member is attachable to a top surface of the main body when the earphone and microphone modules are not in use. The spring biased spool is mounted within the main body. Opposite ends of the data transmission cable respectively connect with the spring biased spool and the detachable member. The spring biased spool enables the data transmission cable to be extended or retracted. When the data transmission cable is retracted, it is housed within the main body, and the detachable member can be firmly attached on the main body. The rolling member allows the earphone and the microphone modules to conveniently separate from each other at the beginning of a call, and to be conveniently coupled together at the end of a call.

    • A lens holder (20) used in a digital camera includes a first housing (21) and a second housing (22) complementary thereto. Each housing includes a joining edge (203,204) and a plurality of screw threads (201,202) on an outside surface of the housings. A plurality of mounting holes (211) and a plurality of mounting pins (221) are formed on the joining edges of the housings. A plurality of partition platforms (213,223) is formed inside each housing to define a plurality of rooms for accommodating and securing a plurality of lenses. Each partition platform has a semi-circular opening (214,224) therethrough. In assembly, a plurality of lenses is inserted into the rooms and secured therein. Then, the second housing is assembled with the first housing with the locking pins inserting into the mounting holes of the joining edges. A lens holder used in a digital camera is thus formed.

Each nozzle includes a heater (128) connecting with and being enabled by the main circuitry via the corresponding electrical connector. When the portable communication device receives an incoming call (or message), predetermined heaters are enabled by the main circuitry to release a fragrance corresponding to the caller (or sender).
