摘要： An annular sealing device 1 for a wellbore comprising a ring 2 located in a wellbore allowing a production string or tubing to pass through. The ring includes a plurality of interlocking elements which are expandable radially inwards to engage the tubing passing through the ring and seal the annular space or stabilise and centralise the tubing. The interlocking elements can be blades 11 which interlock to form an iris closure system. The device includes a ram system to move the interlocking element radially inwards.

摘要： A stand-alone pressurised sprinkler system comprises individual on-board supplies of both fire-retardant 4 and propellant 3 that are expelled under pressure by sprinkler heads 24 via a network of pipes 11 and joints 12. The system is operable in isolation from any other system or feeds, and so is suitable for retro-fitting to existing buildings. The fire-retardant/propellant containers may be re-fillable and together with the control unit 5 may be enclosed in a suitable case 1.

摘要： The invention relates to a manufactured metal containment and channelling device 4 which is placed over and attached to a damaged pipe to help capture and channel any escaping fluids to a secure repository via a vent pipe. The device may have a variable size aperture or iris mechanism (6,7,8 Figure 2) fitted internally which allows a variety of sizes of pipe to be clamped and secured inside the device, before a series of valves internally can then control the flow of fluids to the pipe. The device is capable of being hydraulically, mechanically or remotely operated and has necessary fixings to allow connection to these systems. The protective framework also helps in placing the device accurately and has fixings for additional ballast, as well as deployable flanges or bolts to assist in securing it in position.

摘要： A process is disclosed for topically applying additive compositions to planar substrates, such as tissue webs. In one embodiment, the process is designed to apply relatively high viscous compositions to base sheets at high speeds in a manner that prevents the additive composition from penetrating into the sheet. The additive composition having the relatively high viscosity can be applied to the base sheet in one embodiment using an offset gravure printing process. The applicator roll includes a pattern of raised elements. The raised elements define a surface having at least one dimension that is less than 500 microns. The raised elements are also spaced closely together in order to prevent fiber buildup on the roll during relatively fast processing speeds.
